About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Hi,

I am on tourist visa valid for 6 months until August 2011 with 2 entries. Was given 30 days on duration of stay.
On my 30th day of stay in China, I extended the duration of stay for another 3 months and was granted to stay till June 2011.
I intend to stay longer because I followed my employer here to continue working as their domestic helper.

My questions are:-
1) After I extended my duration of stay, I was given a China Visa that says valid till June 2011.
Does this supercede my original visa that is valid till Aug 2011? Can I still come into China in July?

2) How many times do China allow me to apply for extension on duration of stay?

3) I kee[ hearing people say can aplly and easier to apply extension in Hong Kong. Can I do it?

Many thanks

siti, your original visa is valid until Aug 2011, and after one extension, you can stay in China until June 2011. That means, your original one expired automaticly after extension and you can stay in China until June. Anyway, you can extend your visa again for once.
