About:Chinese Holidays

Please can you tell me why have legal days listed (ie May Day is 1 legal day) but in the column next to it you have the dates 30th April to 2nd May (ie this would be 3 days holiday). Do you mean that sometime within this period Chinese people are entitled to 1 day off?

Yes, entitled to have 1 days off. The three day holiday contains a weekend.
