About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

Hi I am a Canadian , leaving in the US (Detroit) with green card, and I need to travel to CHina (shangai) to do a business presentation. What are the requirements in terms of visa, costs and time to obtain a visa if required.

You need to apply for a business visa to China, the requirements are:
1. One completely filled out Visa Application Form V.2011A with one passport photo affix to it and Form V.2011B.
2. Original passport
3. Green Card and its copy
4. invitation letter from China side or recommendation letter from your company in US

It costs US$ 140, it takes 5 working days from the date of submitting the application

Sorry, it takes US$ 30 for single entry F visa for Canadian applicants.
