About:Chinese Consulate in New York

My passport will expire in july this year, how early can I renew it? Do I have to wait to renew int in July?
What document do I need to bring in with me beside my passport port? Hoe long will it take to have my passport renew?

You can renew your passport now, you need to bring:
1. your present passport and its copy
2. filled China passport application form
3. two recent passport photos
4. your US visa or Green card or other documents to prove your legal status in USA, it takes about 2 weeks for processing.
