About:Chinese Embassy in Kenya

I'm also not clear on the way the single-entry and double-entry visas work. I was issued a single-entry visa a while back which I was required to use within 3 months. Once in China, I had 30 days to leave. I stayed for a few weeks and came back. I'm going back to China for a longer visit exceeding 30 days. Do I need to apply for a double entry visa? I would then need to leave China after 30 days and then come back for another 30 days I'm I right? And by leaving China, I can go to any neighboring country and come back, can I? Thanks for your insight.

If you just want to stay in China for more than 30 days, you can apply for a single entry visa and asks for more than 30 days stay duration. then a single entry visa is ok for this trip.

If you asks for double entry visa, you have to leave China after 30 days stay duration and then come back for another 30 days stay duration. You can go to any neighboring country and come back.
