About:Passport

I am using a Green Philippine Passport which will expire by 06 June 2011. I'm planning to take a vacation in the U.S.A. this May. My passport was given an extension for 2 years by the Dept. of Foreign Affairs here in the Philippines. Would the U.S. Immigration recognize the extension of my passport and would allow me to travel in the U.S. Hoping to hear from you soon.

I hear that some countries don't recognize Philippines Green Passport, when your green passport will expire, you should apply for Machine Readable Passport, why don't you get 2 years by the Dept. of Foreign Affairs in the Philippines?
