About:Shanghai Metro Ticket

Can people work in the subway speak english? I feel like they're gonna speak chinese to me when I ask them something

Yes, most can not speak English. They may understand some simple English.

Well being in shanghai right now and using the metro daily I can tell you that most of them speak better English
