About:Xidi Ancient Village

We plan to Stay in Huangshan for 3 days, leaving only half a day to wander around Xidi. Is there an early morning bus from Huangshan to Xidi, and an early afternoon bus going back to Tunxi so we can catch the afternoon bus going back to Shanghai?

Yes, there should be a bus in the morning around 8am from Huangshan Scenic Area to Yixian via Xidi. You have to get to 西递路口 to wait for the bus from Yixian to Tunxi.

May I know the bus timetable from Huangshan Scenic Area to Yixian and Shexian?

How many hours should spend in Xidi and Hong Cun respectively since I do not have much time before I going back to Hangzhou?

There are two buses from Huangshan scenic area to Yixian at 09:30 and 15:30. To Shexian, there is only one bus to Shexian at around 06:00. I think half a day is enough for Hongcun and Xidi, since it only takes about 30 minutes to transfer between them.
