About:China Train

I had wanted to take a boat trip down the Grand Canal from Beijing to Shanghai, but have not been able to find if it is possible. If not, I would like to take a train that runs along the Canal and to stop for sight-seeing at any city you recommend along the way. Can you help me?

Haven’t heard any passenger ships available down the Grand Canal from Beijing to Shanghai; for the trains from Shanghai to Beijing, they pass by some cities but not run along the Canal. For details, you could check the train schedules on the page. Besides, for sleeper tickets and seats tickets on D or G trains, they would become invalid once you getting off the train during the journey.
