About:Shanghai Attractions

I will be in Canton Fair for all the three phases. However I want to take 2 days off to see Shanghai. Any recommended memorable attractions? Do you recommend I take a cab to the sites myself or just hire a tour guide? If you recommend a tour guide, where or how do I get one? Can I get a tour guide from the hotel I will be staying in or from the airport? And which region is much closer to Harbin, Shanghai or Guangzhou?

To Shanghai, The bund and Huangpu River, Yuyuan garden, nanjing Road, Xintiandi are must see attractions. I advise you hire a guide, since the taxi driver may ask for more, seeing that your are a foreginer. Meanwhile, you can know more about each attraction under the guide's explanation. I advise you hire a guide through a China travel agency. I think Shanghai is closer to Harbin.
