About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

A friend told me a Transit Visa is needed passing Shanghai to the Philippines. Will you verify this information? I am a US Citizen, carrying a US Passport.

I am scheduled to go to Schenzhen on transit before final destination to Philippines. I need to verify this information before my travel. Thank you.

A transit visa is not required for US nationals who transit Shanghai for less than 48 hours (leave the airport is allowed)
