About:Chinese Consulates in Thailand

Hello. I am planning to work in the PRC and will be getting the necessary visa. My fiancee is Thai and we want to know what sort of visa she would need to accompany me. If she just comes to visit me periodically would a tourist visa be acceptable? What would she need to do to stay with me up to a year at a time?

If you have not make marriage registration, it is impossible for her to come to China as a dependant, only immediate family members of an alien who work in China can apply for work visa as dependent. Now, your thai fiancee can only apply for a tourist visa to China
