Question

I am a Canadian Citizen, currently residing in Belo Horizonte Brazil.I will be returning to Canada in late may, and wish to travel to China in early June.I will be returning to Brazil in July.Given the time constraints for obtaining a visa,will it be possible to apply for a tourist visa from Belo Horizonte?I hold  Canadian passport, but do not have any Brazilian I.D.  Although, I have applied for a permanent visa.  If possible, I will need to either apply through your Rio, or São Paulo consulate.Please Advise.

You can't apply for a tourist visa from Belo Horizonte, you have to apply through Consulate General of China in Rio de Janeiro because Belo Horizonte - Minas Gerais is under its consular jurisdiction. Brazilian permanent visa can substitute Brazilian ID
