About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

I am a Canadian Citizen, currently residing in Belo Horizonte Brazil.
I will be returning to Canada in late may, and wish to travel to China in early June.
I will be returning to Brazil in July.
Given the time constraints for obtaining a visa,
will it be possible to apply for a tourist visa from Belo Horizonte?
I hold Canadian passport, but do not have any Brazilian I.D. Although, I have applied for a
permanent visa.

If possible, I will need to either apply through your Rio, or São Paulo consulate.

Please Advise.

You can't apply for a tourist visa from Belo Horizonte, you have to apply through Consulate General of China in Rio de Janeiro because Belo Horizonte - Minas Gerais is under its consular jurisdiction. Brazilian permanent visa can substitute Brazilian ID
