About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

I am a resident in Singapore with a HKID with permanent resident status. However, I still have to get the new version of the the HKID, which I will do when I go to HK on the first week of April. Can I go visit China with my old HKID and not get a visa?

Are you a Singaporean passport holder? if yes, you are not required visa to China if you will stay in China for less than 15 days.
