Question

I am living in Mongolia using a working visa. I would like to travel to China for a short period of time. I know that the visa application process takes about 4 working days. My question is: Do I have to be present on the 4th day to pick up my Chinese visa? I will be in Ulaanbaatar only to send in my application, but will need to return to work in a different city. Could I pick up my visa on a later date, after it has been processed?

Better not delay for pick up. You can entrust someone else to pick up your visa on your behalf with the receipt if you can not go there in person. Anyway, it is not a big problem if you go later.
