About:Chinese Consulate in Vancouver

I am a Canadian citizen applying for a tourism visa.
What is the Local ID card number mentioned in 1.11 on the Visa application form? Do I need to fill it out?
Do I need a one entry or two entry visa?
I would be arriving by air in Beijing May 8, 2011, touring through China with a tour group that enters Hong Kong on May 27 2011. The tour ends May 28 2011, however I have booked 2 extra days to see the city and leave Hong Kong by air on May 30 2011 and return home to Canada.

The Local ID Card Number means the number of your Canadian Identity Card.

Do you mean your itineray is Canada-Beijing-other cities in China-HK-Canada? If so, a single entry China tourist visa is sufficient. You only enter Mainland China once.
