Hello... I need to be getting the train from Shanghai to Xinyi on the 6th of April, It leaves at around 18:50ish. I was wondering if I need to book tickets in advance because I live in the UK and there is no easy way of me doing that. I have no friends in China who can do it for me. So what must I do? And also how do I get from Pu dong airport to the Shanghai station that this train leaves from? If it is via Taxi how much would that cost? Thanks

Only one train K8356/K8357 is operating from Shanghai to Xinyi. To ensure getting the train tickets, you would better arrange the tickets booking online in advance. From pudong airport to Shanghai train station where the train K8356/K8357 departs, you could take the airport shuttle line 5 directly. It costs around CNY18 per person and takes about 1.5hrs. By taxi, it costs about CNY150 one way.
