About:China Bank Acount, Credit Card, Traveler's Cheque

My first question was answered very nicely but I am still worried as I have never tried this before. I am an American living with my new Chinese wife. I have a debit(?) card, not credit card with the bank of China, and I still have my American Mastercard debit card on my active American bank account. Can I use the American debit card to withdraw money from my American account, and will I get USD or RMB? My Bank of China is both USD and RMB, but my American Mastercard is just USD. I know the directions are in both Chinese and English, but you have to be very careful and not make mistakes with these machines as they are not very forgiving and will eat your card quickly. It is now the weekend and I don't want to be w/o money and the card until Monday.

I think you can draw RMB out from Bank of China from your American Account. However, you may have to go to the counter in the bank to draw the money out, and you'd better take your passport and visa with you as well.
