Can you please confirm that if i travel wz another airline from FRA to MEL via PVG, do i need to always pick up my luggage again and go through security, even if the first airline checks my luggage all the way through to MEL ? If yes, is the reason because china is a communist country? or is that just the rules becasue i am transiting through a new country. Thx for your help.
