About:China Transit Visa

Hi,

I holds a Vietnamese passport but right now I am working in Netherlands and I also hold a Dutch ID for international worker. My plan is to come back to my country, Vietnam through China. In other words, I want to book a flight from Amsterdam to Shanghai, and then another flight from Shanghai to Vietnam. The gap between two flight is just around 10 hours, so I have to stay inside the airport. In this case, do I have to apply for a transit visa?

Thank you so much for spending time answering my question.

You are exempted from visa to transit in Shanghai if you will not leave the airport during the 10 hours.
