About:China Work Visa

I was just offered a job with a multinational company in Hangzhou,China for a year-long stint. So far I have submitted my resume/degree diploma and now I have fedex my original medical documents w/ 5 passport size photos to the hiring company. Although I know the company knows the visa procedures, I was wondering if you could outline some of the upcoming procedures and how close I am to getting the necessary documents in order to apply for the Z-visa. Also, how long does it take for the company to obtain the letter of invite and work permit approved by the local government bodies? I'm not sure if it's true but I read that multinational companies have the automatic authorization to issue the aforementioned documents. I appreciate all feedback and information provided to better prepare me for the unknown.

Thanks,
Aaron

The Employment Permit for Foreigners is issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and it takes time and the company can not issue it by themselves. Invitation letter is also issued by an authorized unit in China. So please wait and ask them for the original documents for your Z visa application.
