About:Guilin Transportation

I'm leaving to visit my son in Wuhan on March 17 2011. We will spend a couple of days touring Wuhan and then plan to go to Guilin/Yangshuo March 21-23. What would be the best option of transportation? We are trying to keep expenses down. Do you think there would be enough decent lodging without making reservations? (We'd be ok staying in a hostel if they were available.) We also want to get to Shanghai by Fri March 25, what mode of transportation would you recommend to get there. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can take train from Wuhan to Guilin/Yangshuo. It is not difficult for you to find a decent lodging without making reservations.
If you want a cheaper way, you can take train from Guilin to Shanghai. If you want a comfortable and fast way, you can fly from Guilin to Shanghai.
