About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

my two daughters and myself are travelling to shanghai in april this year. what vaccinations,visas etc will we require? we will be staying for approximately one week.

You don't need any vaccinations, but you need to apply for a single entry China tourist visa. Please pay attention to the consular districts of China embassy and consulates in Australia, you can find the information from https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/australia.htm if you live in the consular districts of China consulate in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, you have to submit application to CVASC in the city, the three consulates doesn't accept application from ordinary passport holders.
