About:Beijing Travel Tips

When is the best time to visit Beijing, Chengde and Xian, the end of Jul or mid of Oct?

I want to visit China and have found a trip doing the usual tourist route Beijing, Chengde,Xian. I have option of end of July or middle Oct. Which would be the best one weather wise. I have to decide by tomorrow aft. Help !!

Oct should be better since the weather will be mild without hots days and too much rainfall. To be opposite, July is the hot summer in China.
