About:Nanning - Hanoi Trains: T8701/ T8702

Train from Chengdu

Hi, my son and I want to travel from Chengdu in June to Hanoi. I think I would get a direct train from Chengdu to Nanning. Then I I’m a little unsure. Can I get a direct sleeper train to Hanoi and what is the cost for a 2 berth cabin. Or is it easier to get a train to another entry point and work my way through Vietnam to Hanoi. Many thanks.

Chengdu - Nanning and Nanning - Hanoi direct trains are the good way to travel to Hanoi by train. You may buy the Nanning - Hanoi train tickets at Nanning railway station in person and the price for one soft berth is CNY 215, one passport for one berth and one cabin has 4 soft berths, so you need to share a cabin with other two travelers.
