About:Chinese Embassy in South Africa

My son is going on a trip with his University in June 2011 and they are going to be visiting Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanhai, Yichang etc. Can you please advise me as to what the Visa requirements are and what documents he needs for his Visa.

The required documents are original passport, applicaiton form with photo stuck to it, if they are travel with a tour, the travel itinerary is required; Otherwise, the round-trip tickets and hotel bookings are required if visa officers deem them necessary.
