Hello,
I am an American Citizen teaching here in Manila, but would be interested in workng in China as an English teacher. I was told i need to go back to the US to process and apply for the Z visa, is that true? I should just be able to apply here in Manila for the visa, can you give me any advice? Thanks

No, Mr.David, it is not true. If you can get required work permit and invitaiton letter from China, the Z visa application can be processed in Philippines or in HK.
