About:China Train Stations

I am planning a trip to Beijing, Xian then to Hong Kong. Is it possible to take a train from Beijing to Xian and then from Xian to Shenzhen then cross the border to take the train to Hong Kong? Thanks.

Of course, you can travel like this, which will save some travel expense. But it takes around 30hrs by train K448/K445, which maybe a little toilsome for you. And several direct flights are available daily from Xian to Shenzhen, which takes around 2.5hrs.
