About:China Customs Declaration

Hi there,

We currently live in Shanghai and my husband is going to the USA for a business trip. I want him to buy some stuff there to bring back to China. My shopping list includes Olive Oil, dish washer detergent, salad dressing, children's over the counter medicines, Cleaning wipes, chocolates, shaving cream and lots and lots of Pull Up Diapers for my son. Does he have to declare these even if they are for personal use and we can not buy them in China? Will he also have to pay tax???? Thank you very much for your time.

I heard that there are strict rules for the medicines and liquids brought in China. You'd better contact Shanghai customs to enquire about this.
