About:Xinjiang Travel

Hi All,
I am in my first year of commerce and law at university. I am studying online through an Australian university. What I would like to do is teach English in Xinjiang while I am studying externally.

My question is would schools be willing to employ me under these circumstances?
I am willing to teach in remote locations however obviously need good internet connections for my studies.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Thankyou.

Hello, Mr Mark, In this case, I am afraid that it is a little hard for you to get the teaching job in the schools since you haven't got your sertification. Anyway, you'd better contact with the schools in Xinjiang to confirm this.

Hi Mark,
I'm not sure about Xinjiang, but there is an endless stream of teaching jobs available in Beijing. You definitely do not need a degree if you just want to give private lessons which can be found through the classifieds like www.thebeijinger.com if you want to teach in a school you can just get a tefl qualification and you should be fine. of course you can study and teach at the same time. check out the beijinger. best

Ms Josephine, Thankyou for your response. It is appreciated. I am going to check out the site. I guess the ideal scenario would be to volunteer at a school that would also allow me to complete my degree at the same time.

Once again thankyou.
