About:Dual Nationality

I'm a chinese national who married to an Italian, we are currently living in US for working reasons. non of us has US passport/green card. My baby is going to be born in US, I wonder if i can apply for the Chinese Passport for my baby? if he gets the chinese passport, does it mean that he can not have the US passport at the same time even as a new born?

many thanks!

You can apply for Chinese passport for your baby from the local China Embassy or consulate. However, your baby can't have the Us passport at the same time, since China doesn't recognize dual nationality.
