Hi! I would like to know the fastest way to get to shanghai from hejin, shanxi province if I leave either on any Saturday morning and come back Sunday night if possible by flight, train, or bus? Are there flights leaving Friday night from yuncheng? thank you! I just have the weekend to go away...

As Hejin is a small city within the jurisdiction of Yuncheng, there are no direct trains, flights or buses to Shanghai from there. By train, you could transfer at Xian but it takes around 24hrs on the train. The most convenient way is to take bus to Yuncheng first and then take a flight to Shanghai. Besides, only one flight FM9146 is departing at 11:10 daily to Shanghai from Yuncheng.

thanks for the info! sounds like going there for a weekend is out of the question!!do u know how far we are from hainan island or from somewhere with very beautiful beach and sand atmosphere? am missing tropical weather!!is it possible to take a fast train at all from yuncheng or must we go straight to Xian or Zhengzhou? I’m so excited to see some beautiful nature but it looks like its all down south near guilin! What do u think??
