About:Chinese Embassy in South Africa

I am currently in China on business and renting an appartment and my family want to join me for two weeks for a short tour around China. Do they need any sort of invitation to apply for visas, and if yes what sort of invitation, from who.

A letter of confirmation from a Chinese travel service or a local travel service and the return air ticket are required.
