About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Hi, here are my questions:
1.how many days will it take to process a visa to China (philippine setting)?
2. do they still have the 2day processing?
3. our flight is on march 7 but our passport renewal will be released tom or by Friday (Feb 24 or Feb 25). I'm wondering if we can still make it on time....
4.Also, my second name as appearing in my passport and birth certificate is different from those appearing from my supporting documents. I already have a court decision for the change of name but still have not changed the name in my passport as the NSO still have not made the necessary corrections/annotations in my birth certificate. What additional documents do I need to submit and would this affect my chances of being granted a visa?

Thank you.

1. it takes 4 working days to process a visa to China.
2. the 2 days processing service is not available now. 3 days processing service is available.
3. You still have time to obtain a visa on time, please submit your application on Feb 28, 2011 (Mon.), you can pick up your visa on March 3, 2011 (Thu.)
4. which type of visa do you want to apply for? the requirements for different types of visa are listed on this page, please read the information carefully.

The birth certificate is not required for tourist visa application, therefore, how the visa officier know the difference of your name on the passport and the birth certificate?

Please don't worry, if all the requirements for tourist visa are submitted, it is possible for you to get a visa.

my birth certificate and my passport bear the same name...but my supporting documents like GSIS ID, authority to travel, etc.have different second name. so they will be able to see the discrepancy...

tnx for the reply again
