About:Chinese Consulate in Vancouver

Hi... I am unable to get to Vancouver until early the morning of my flight out to China (to Beijing, which leaves at midnight that same day)... If I pay the 'rush' fee and make sure I am at the office before 11:00am will I have any trouble getting the visa - even though it is the same day as the flight? Does it cause any problems applying this late for a visa?

If the visa officer agrees you to use the rush service, it doesn't casue any problems. The application should be submitted before 11:00, it can be picked up at 14:00 on the same day, extra CA$50 will be charged besides the visa fee. You can show your flight ticket on the same day to the visa officer to prove that you need a visa urgently.
