Hi. My friend is a NIgerian but currently studying in Malaysia and wish to go to Hong Kong for travel. Any other extra documents that he needed to provide besides the normal procedure? Thank you.

Your friend is required to apply for a visa to Hong Kong in advance through Chinese embassy/consulate in Malaysia. The documents are as follows:1. Your Passport/travel document2. One completed Hk application form affixed with one passport-sized photo. 3. Hotel reservation, round trip ticket and bank certificate.Moreover, he can provide an invitation letter in which the sponsor agrees to provide financial support and accommodation, and one copy of the sponsor's HK ID if any. Processing time needed is 2-4 weeks if the connection with HK immigration is necessary.
