Hello,

I am planning to visit China for import purpose. Also I have a good travel history including schengen visas.

During my discussion with the potential suppliers, I asked for the invitation letter and they give me the letter but it seems that suppliers are reluctant to provide the "Confirmation Letter of Invitation". So can I get visa only on the invitation letter or a confirmation letter of invitation is mandatory.

one is ok for visa application, the confirmation letter or an invitation letter. Is your invitaion letter from Bureau of foreign trade and economic cooperation in China? or only from your suppliers? if the latter, you may refused to get visa.

The issue is that the suppliers are willing to send an invitation letter of their own company but seems they hesitate to go to a government agency to get the confirmation for invitation letter.

Is it tough/expensive for a supplier to go to a government agency and ask for a confirmation of invitation?
