What is the best and the closest hotel to this mountain so that we can enjoy the scenery from our rooms? Is it very advantgous to pre book the rooms now for april or can we get e deal by booking right at the hotel?

I would suggest you pre book the hotel for a cheaper room rate. I recommend WuYishan Yeohwa Hotel or Dragon Resort Wuyi Mountain.

Thanks Mr James. I had noticed The Wuyishan Villa was very close to the mountains How does it compare with the 2 you mentioned. Also someone said It would be better to find a tour guide there that could help us with the attractions and save us some money. where could I find these guides

Wuyishan Villa is just located Wiyi Mountain Scenis area. I think you may hire a guide at the entrance of the scenic area or in Wuyi City.
