The documents you need to bring to the China consulate in Barcelona are:
1. your French passport
2. one recent passport photo
3. complete visa application forms (V2011A and V2011B)
4. Spanish Residence Permit and its copy
5. round-trip flight tickets

it takes 5 working days. you don't need to ask for an emergency visa.
