About:Chinese Embassy in Mongolia

I am currently in Korea and thinking of flying to Mongolia to Ulaanbaatar. Then I want to go to China afterwards to Beijing and Shanghai. I have a US Passport. Can I apply for a Chinese VISA in Ulaanbaatar? How much will it cost? How long will it take? Thanks for the replies!

You can apply for a Chines visa in Ulaan Batar, it costs US$140, The regular processing time is 4 working days.
No appointment is required.
Mailed applications are not acceptable.
