About:China Work Visa

Hello,
I am trying to get a visa for a new investor in my company, a WFOE. He applied for an expert card, the initial stage which is done online. They told him he didn't need an expert card, but rather a work permit. Is this correct? Or does he first need the work permit and then has to apply for the expert card? He is in China now, but has been on a student visa. He will be both an investor in the business and also work there. Thank you for any help you can provide!

yes, he needs the Work Permit for Foreigners issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. With this permit, he can apply for a work visa.
