About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

My wife is a Chinese and is a citizen of China and we have been married for the past 4 years currently I am on a L visa living in Chengdu and have been here for the past 4 years. Can I apply for Permanent Resident Permit after 5 years of marriage instead of L visa which is granted to me for the past 4 years? Thank you and appreciate your reply.

Actually, China permanet residency is very hard to get. You can apply for a one year L visa with multiple entries from your wife's local PSB, and also it can be extended.
