You can try to use it to apply for business visa to China, but sometimes the China embassy doesn't consider the confirmation as invitation letter. As I know, the confirmation letter of Canton Fair is not recognized by a China embassy. For business visa application in Kenya, the below documents are required:
1. Valid passport & 2 passport-sized photos;

2. Application form completely filled;

3. Air ticket booking and hotel booking;

4. Covering letter from employer or business registration/certificate of incorporation;

5. Visa authorization form or official invitation letter from Chinese inviter with clear signature and stamp;

6. Bank statement for last 3 months with positive latest closing balance;

7. Copy of your valid Reentry pass or resident permit if you are not a Kenya national;

8. Other documents that the visa officer deems necessary

9. Applying for multiple visa also requires the copy of previous visas to China
