About:China Embassy in Thailand

Hello,

I am US citizen currently residing in Thailand. I have two questions regarding Chinese visas and I would appreciate any help you could give me.

1. Can I pay for it in Baht or by credit card (VISA)?
2. Does the visa start to expire on the date like Vietnam or can I request certain dates for my visa to be valid for?

Thank you

1. You can pay for visa fee in Bahts
2. A single-entry visa is generally valid for 3 months, it comes into force since the date of issuance. You can't request the date for your visa to be valid for. Please apply for China visa 50 days before your trip to China.
