About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

My passport as expired . I need to renew it.
My current passport is being held by UK Border Control as I have applied for permission
to marry a British citizen and I am waiting for the Certificate allowing me to marry.

Can you please advise me on what I need to do to obtain a new passport.

You need to prepare the below documents to obtain a new passport:
1. one filled Chinese passport application form
2. three passport photos
3. your present passport and the copy of its data pages
4. valid UK residence permit and its copy

If your passport has expired when you submit application, the fee is 65 pounds, if your passport has not expired when you submit application, the fee is 30 pounds.
