About:

My wife and I plus another couple would like to travel by BULLET TRAIN from Shanghai to Beijing towards the end of April. Please advise me what is the best way to do.We will be staying in Shanghai Grand Mersure Baolong Hotel. How far is this hotel from the train station ( that is the train station which we will catch the bullet train to Beijing)?How long does it take from Shanghai to Beijing and how much does it cost? What is the frequency ( How many times a day the trains run?) Would appreciate your early re[ly so that we can plan our journey Thank you.

You can go to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to take bullet train to Beijing. It is about 30km from the hotel to the train station. The train runs from 21:25 to 21:45 on an interval of 5 minutes. It takes about 10 hours and costs about CNY409 or CNY327.
