About:How to Choose China Train Ticket Types?

We will be visiting different places in China: Guangzhou, Shanghai, Guangxi, and Nanning. I am not good with geographic areas so would like to know in what order of these places I should go in order to get the best out of a two week traveling time.

Except for Nanning, which cities do you like to visit in Guangxi? In view of the distance between above cities, you could visit Guangzhou first and then cities in Guangxi such as Nanning and etc, last to Shanghai.
