About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

i'm arriving at pvg at 10.40am (terminal 1) and leave to osaka at 2.35pm(terminal 2). since i am travelling with two different airlines(klm and china eastern air) i will have to pick up my baggage and check in again. klm allows me to take 23kg whereas china eastern only allows 20kg and less hand baggage.
so i want to open my suitcase and leave some stuff in shanghai for about 13 days, so i have less to travel with to japan.
are there any lockers between baggage claim area and check in area?
if so, do i have to pay in advance or when i pick up my stuff?
can i pay with coins, bills or both?

Firstly, since you are starting your journey from outside China then you shouldn't succumb to the baggage restrictions. Just make sure you check in your bags all the way through from Germany. Meaning they should tag your bags all the way to Osaka. Then when you claim your bags in Shanghai, go to the China Eastern desk for re check in but they should not say anything as your bags have already been tagged to Osaka. Good luck

You can find baggage lockers at gate 4-5 and 10-11 of the departure hall or gate 6-7 of arrival hall in T1. Or you can find it at the international exit of arrival hall or Island A and M of Departure hall in T2.
You may need to pay it in advance with CNY.
