My expat colleague (who speaks Mandarin) will go to Kunming with his family (total 4 persons) from 20 Apr to 29 Apr this year and they want to visit Lijiang and Shangri-la during their stay in Kunming.  Kindly suggest an itinerary and advise what kind of transportation is most suitable.Thank you for your kind attention.

They can just make their itinerary this way: HK-Guangzhou-Kunming- Lijiang-Shangri-la-Kunming. There are buses between Kunming and Lijiang and Lijiang and Shangri-la.
