hi I have concern on my passport validity period. My passport will expire on 17 Oct 2011. And I will visit Hong Kong, Macau & Shenzhen during 6 Apr - 10 Apr 2011. based on requirement , the last 6 month will be 17 Apr 2011. is it ok ?? because I already apply China visa which valid for one year till Aug 2011.

6 months requirement for passport is counted from the date you submit your visa application to China. It is ok for use if you will apply for it in February or March.
